We have really been missing Ty so decided to pack and head to Monticello. It was a long drive (about 6 hours) but the kids did really well! We arrived in Monticello Friday evening just as Ty was getting off work. It was his birthday so we went to dinner. Monticello is kind-of a dump and so was the restaurant we ate at but there isn't much to choose from. The food we ordered was not good and I felt bad since it was Ty's birthday. Saturday Ty had to work until 2:30 then we went on a drive around the area. We found some pretty cool indian (or alien as Crey called them) ruins. We went through some pretty mountains on the way home. The view was beautiful!

A trip to see Daddy!
We have really been missing Ty so decided to pack and head to Monticello. It was a long drive (about 6 hours) but the kids did really well! Crey turns 5!!
My little Crey man turned 5 years old! I am having a hard time seeing my baby grow up. He is such a tender-hearted little boy and says the cutest things. He keeps us smiling constantly with the things he comes up with! I think his favorite present was that his Daddy got to come home for his birthday! We told him he could choose to eat wherever he wanted and order anything he wanted. He said all he wanted was a to order a corn dog and eat it at home. The simple mind of a child! That evening Ty and I went to dinner for out belated anniversary date. It was so needed since he has been gone so much lately!

Bryce and I took the kids camping. I have been helping Bryce with his kids this summer. It has been so much fun for the kids to be able to spend the summer together. I can't believe summer is almost over -it has flown by. The kids start school again on the 20th. I am really bummed because I love my kids being home with me!
Youth Conference
I was able to attend Youth Conference again this year. We left early Monday morning and returned late Wednesday evening. We toured Temple Square, performed baptisms for the dead in the SL Temple and held a testimony in the temple. We also went to the open house for the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was so beautiful! We went to "This is the Place" monument and then tubed the Provo River. It was so much fun! I was sad to come home but was really missing my kids! Ty has been working in Monticello for a couple of months now and I hate him being gone! He has been able to come home for two days every twelve days but his boss is giving him grief and wants him to just stay until the job is done middle of September. I hope that doesn't happen -12 days is already too long! He is suppose to be home aroung midnight tomorrow and I am excited to see him!
24th of July
Tylie's Baptism on the 4th of July
Tylie was baptized on the 4th of July. It was a really busy day! We woke up to the cannon going off at 7:00 and headed to the parade. Following the parade the YW and I participated in the program. We did a fun skit that had everyone laughing. We then went up to the Cobble Crest where the we (the YW leaders) were in charge of cooking lunch for everyone. It was busy but turned out great! We skipped the games and water fight at the park to get ready for Tylie's baptism. Tylie was thrilled to have her dad baptise and confirm her. Tyler was really nervous but did a wonderful job! I was so proud of both of them. We then went and got pizza for everyone and went back to the Cobble Crest for "family night." The town has a DJ come so everyone can dance and/or sit on the lawn and listen to music. They also have a bunch of inflatable slides, jump houses, etc. for the kids (and kids at heart) to enjoy. It turned out to be a really fun and exciting day!
Kanarra Girls Camp 2009
We had another successfull girls camp. We had a couple of accidents but in all we had a great time. This calling keeps me young and I really love the girls and the leaders I get to serve with. These girls all get along very well and we didn't have even one disagreement throughout the four days. I love living in a little town where everyone is so close! It's like one big family:)

Tylie & Trent are 8!
We had a combined birthday party for Trent and Tylie at our house. It sure is fun having them 5 days apart! They had a lot of fun opening presents. Tylie was a little bummed that we made her wait to open some of her presents but I knew she would be sad if she didn't have anything to open on her birthday.
Let's Get Out of Here!
We were getting sick of the stresses of life and decided to take a last minute camping trip to New Castle Resevoir. It rained on us the first night but the next day turned out beautiful. Vance & his boys and Mike & Bradlee joined us. Mike brought his boat so we all piled in and fished all day. It was so much fun!
